Come to the Shadowplay Stage at SF Pride, Sunday, June 29, Noon- 6:30 pm. Finally, a dance stage alternative to the house and country stages! Indie rock, electro, post-punk, glam. DJ Donimo hosts queer rawk DJs from SF and from Popstarz London, the world's largest queer indie club. Hyde Street between Fulton and McAllister.

you can handle, TROUBLE offers a refreshing alternative, every fourth Saturday of the month,
at Silver Lake's hottest up-and-coming dive leather dance bar (?), MJ's, at 2810 Hyperion Ave.

The Mormons are playing and Bil has to say that aside from The Sharp Ease and IAMLOVED,
they are the best band in Los Angeles right now. (Sorry boys, but 3rd place is still pretty good).
They are Mormon missionaries, bringing the good latter-day word. I have not yet told them that
they'll be playing a, uh, gay-bar, so this should be pretty great.

Gauntlet II

A monthly event styled after the traveling sideshows of yesteryear.
It is part night club, part nouveaux-cabaret, and part punk rock all wrapped together
into a kaleidoscopic carnival. Each month features a different theme and a variety of
live music and entertainment. A bedlam, both fun and friendly, we welcome all kinds to
join our circus as participant or spectator.
Scutterfest is a collective that presents a series of concerts,
performances, and art exhibits to raise scholarship money for Gay,
Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, and Transgendered youth artists. Scutterfest
believes that if one misrepresented culture is able to raise its
voice, then others may follow; and in order to do so, a culture's
youths must be given the chance to develop their voices, and to be
heard. Scutterfest hopes that dismantling stereotypes within the GLBT
community will also help reduce biases associated with other
cultures, races, and genders.
